Mr. Jerry Pafford, 70 of Nashville passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Berrien Nursing Center. Mr. Pafford was born October 2, 1947 to the late Elias & Gladys Rowe Pafford. He retired from the State of Georgia with the DOT, and was a member of Beulah Holiness Baptist Church.

Survivors include his brothers, Jody (Jewell) Pafford of Valdosta, and Emory (Amy) Pafford of Nashville; sisters, Ann (Neil) Gaskins of Nashville, Janice (Larry) Cooper of Nashville, and Judy Gatlin of Nashville; sister in law, Hildred Pafford of Galtin, Tn,; brother in law, Jim Joiner of Sparks; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Pafford was preceded in death by his brother, Julian Pafford; two sisters, Vivian Felts, and Dorothy Joiner. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home with Rev.

Mickey Lindsey, Rev. Chris Martin, and Rev. Olin Witts officiating.

Interment will follow at Beulah Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Thursday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Purvis Funeral Home. Serving as active pallbearers are Terry Pafford, Darren Johnson, Dan Allen Taylor, Randy Odom, Robby Hough, and Keith Stone.
