Hartselle Funeral service for Jerry Wayne Cagle, 74, will be Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Brown officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. Mr. Cagle died on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 21, 1944, in Prentiss County, Mississippi to Elmer Channing Cagle and Nettie Mamie Staten Cagle.

Mr. Cagle was raised in Leapwood, Tennessee and attended Adamsville High School. Employed by General Motors, he was a Line Supervisor, prior to his retirement. He was a giving person, helping out the Veteran’s Administration, as well as playing music for charity events for the Shriner’s Hospital and the Cerebral Palsy camp for children.

His favorite hobby was buying and trading musical equipment, as well as playing music with his family. Donating musical equipment to churches in need was also a passion. Preceded him in death were his parents and two sisters.

Survivors include : his Wife, Gail S.Cagle, Hartselle, AL Two Sons: Heath Wayne Cagle (Stephanie), Hartselle, AL and Gregory Neal Cagle , Murfeesboro, TN Five Brothers: Eddie Cagle, Peoria, IL, Montie Cagle, Finger, TN, Harold Cagle, Adamsville, TN, Dean Cagle, Adamsville, TN and Tim Cagle, Adamsville, TN Three Sisters: Carolyn Rotten, Adamsville, TN, Donna Crowe, Finger, TN and Loretta Hipps, Adamsville, TN Two Grandchildren: Chase Barrett, Hartselle, AL and Brayden Cagle, Hartselle, AL Peck Funeral Home 1600 Hwy 31 SW P.O.
