Obituary for Jervis “Jerry” McDonald MCDONALD, Mr. Jervis “Jerry” – age 77, passed away, Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at his residence. Family hour 10:00AM Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Johnson Memorial Church of God In Christ, 252 Wesson St., with funeral service commencing at 10:30AM. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 N. Perry St. Friends and pallbearers will assemble at the church 10:00AM Saturday.

Mr. McDonald will lie in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 N. Perry St., and may be viewed from 2:00 PM – 8:00 PM Friday. Mr. McDonald leaves to cherish his memory wife, Janet McDonald; children, Jervis McDonald, Jr., Herman McDonald, Lisa McDonald, Michelle (Terry) Wright, Larry McDonald, Larry (Christine) Sanders, Chris Sanders and Daniel (Elizabeth) Sanders; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Luther Gill; brother-in-law, Russell Jefferson and other relatives and friends. Mr. McDonald was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline and Joe McDonald; and siblings, Lester Gill, Bobbie Jean Jefferson, Lourise McDonald, Birdie Ruth McDonald and Margie Cook.
