Reidsville, Jesse Puga, age 18, passed away Monday, January 7, 2019 in Vidalia. He was born August 29, 2000 in Harlingen, Texas and lived most of his life in Reidsville. He was a 2018 graduate of Tattnall High School and was on his first day of work at Chicken of the Sea when he unexpectedly passed away.

Jesse loved to go camping and gaming. He was of the Catholic faith and was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Pedro and Mercedes Medina. He is survived by his parents, Martin and Leticia Puga of Reidsville; siblings, Martin (Hermelinda) Puga, Jr. of Reidsville, Vanessa Puga of Savannah, Maria Garza of Reidsville, and Leticia Puga of Reidsville; aunts and uncles, Armando (Maria) Medina of Reidsville, Jorge (Maria) Medina of Florida, Petra Medina of Mexico, Minerva Ontiveros of Indiana, Estela Espinoza of Florida and Celia Puga of Indiana; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 3:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the funeral home with Father Vicente Gonzalez officiating. Interment will follow in the Puga Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Martin Puga, Sr., Martin Puga, Jr., Manuel Puga, Andres Garza, Yoel Flores, and Jose Luis Puga. Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Puga family.
