Ray Young Memorial services for Jesse Ray Young of El Reno will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 8, 2019 in the First Baptist Church. Rev. Charlie Blount, pastor will officiate.

Services are under the direction of Wilson Funeral Home. Mr. Young passed away on Saturday February 3, 2019 in St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, with his family by his side. He was born on October 10, 1937 in Cloud Chief, Oklahoma.

Ray was a graduate of Hobart High School and attended the Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Ray Young married Trela Hodges on March 2, 1958 in Beaver, OK. He came to El Reno in 1963 and has resided here since.

He was a retired Railroad Dispatcher and later was a Charter Bus Driver where he travelled the lower 48 states along with his wife. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and served as a deacon there. Ray was a member of NARVE.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Ewing H. & Vera (Lancaster) Young, and a brother Ronnie Young. Survivors include: His Wife Trela (Hodges) Young of the home. Son: Nick Young & wife Cheryl of Yukon, OK.

Ned Young & wife Dawn of Tulsa, OK. Daughter: Tina Greene & husband Brent of Norman, OK. 2 – Brothers: Don Young & wife Linda of Newcastle, OK.

Bill Young & wife Jan of Ada, OK. 2 – Sisters: Louise Ahrens & husband Lewis of Lawton, OK. Kathy Kyle and husband Doug of Mangum, OK.

7 – Grandchildren: Andrea Young, Kyra Caudle, Dana Young, Jacob Young, Sydney Young, Brooklyn Greene, Trevor Greene, 4 – Great Grandchildren: Kennedy & Pierson Caudle, Charleigh Johnson and baby boy Johnson on the Way and numerous other relatives and many dear friends. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund 541 Mercy Drive El Reno, OK. 73036 or the Charity of your choice.
