Jessica Sanchez, a resident of the Merrimack Valley, passed away on April 29, 2019 after fighting a severe lung disease and the flu, surrounded by her loving family. She has been known as a poet who wrote with deep emotion, leaving everyone touched by her words. Born in Lawrence, Mass on September 14, 1976, Jessica was the beloved daughter of Lillian and Charles Nesbitt of Methuen, Mass She was previously married and had three children, Elijah, Andre and her daughter-in-law Nicole Cure, and Nathania Sanchez and her son-in-law Jose Vazquez, all of Lawrence, Mass.

She had two younger twin brothers who she greatly impacted, Chris and Charlie Nesbitt, and six nephews who she treated like her own children. Jessica was a proud graduate from Northeastern University class of 2018 with her bachelors degree in paralegal studies When asked what her greatest achievement was, she would say raising her 3 beautiful children. The second greatest achievement was going back to school and pursuing her dream to become a paralegal.

She devoted her time to the Robert Frost foundation for years and eventually became the head of the organization as the executive director. Jessica lived a life of selfless service not only for her family but to every person she crossed paths with. Jessica was a wise, loving and caring woman.

She cared deeply about her parents and brothers. She loved spending time with her nephews and cousins. She had immense love for her significant other.

But, you could never forget how much she loved her children and her grandchild. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose lives she’s impacted. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 14th between 1 and 4 pm at the Dewhirst & Boles Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.

Following the service, we would like for you to join us for a celebration in honor of Jessica Sanchez with an Open Mic session sponsored by the Robert Frost Foundation at Cafe Azteca, 180 Common St, Lawrence, MA 01840, starting at 7.
