Obituary for Jimmie Ray Wall Jimmie Ray Wall 74 years of age, passed away on Christmas Day in Bedford, Texas. Jimmie, son of Jim R Wall, was born on December 15, 1944 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He attended high school in Abilene, Texas where he met Martha Owen who would become his wife of over 50 years.

Sarge, as he was affectionately known, will be remembered for his service in the US Army during 3 wars achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class. Having travelled extensively with his family while in the military, he then retired to Abilene, Texas where he became a long distance truck driver for Mrs. Baird’s. Upon his 2nd retirement Jimmie and Martha lived peacefully in Abilene for many years before moving to other cities in Texas to be closer to family.

Jimmie’s interests included leather working, knitting and sharing stories of his travels and experiences. Over the last 3 years he rekindled his faith through bible studies and church services. After joining his beloved wife Martha I heaven, he is survived by his siblings Jannie (Larry) Norris, Lawonda (Jon) Hege, and James Bradley (Julie) Wall, his children Jannette Michele (Glen) Webster, Rustie Lea (Dave) Newbern, and James Randal (Julie) Wall, four Grandchildren Tabitha, Christa, Marshal, and Reagan, and his Great Grandson Cody.

Services will be held at Guardian Funeral Home, 5704 James Ave. in Fort Worth, Texas on Monday, December 31st at 12:30 pm. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Jimmie Ray Wall please visit our Sympathy Store.
