JIMMY CLYDE DRIVER, age 79 of Billingsley, passed away on February 15, 2019 at Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery, AL. He was born in Chilton County on February 7, 1940; the son of the late Eddie Driver and the late Everie Cagle Driver. He was a former machine operator in the log woods.

He is survived by: Betty Driver of Billingsley; Daughter, Dot (Jimmy) Jones of Clanton; Daughter, Ressie (Eddie) Shaw of Clanton; Son, Charley Edwards of Clanton; Daughter, Melba Tate of Clanton; Daughter, Melissa (Oneal) Caton of Clanton; Daughter, Christy (Chris) Hayes of Clanton; 10 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. He is preceded in death by: Grandson, Timmy Jones; Parents, Eddie and Everie Driver; 3 Brothers; and 1 Sister. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2018 from 5-7pm at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 18, 2019 at 10:00am from the Chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton with Rev. Joey Green officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethsalem Baptist Church Cemetery in Billingsley, AL.
