Salley – Mr. Jimmy Ray Yon, 61, entered into rest Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Jimmy is the husband of Leila Kirkland Yon who have been married 38 years. He is the father of Mallory Yon and grandfather of Jade Yon and Tara Jones.

Jimmy is the brother of Brenda Wooten, Jack (Alice) Yon, Ronald Yon, Gail Shiffner, and the late Brodus “Bo” Yon Jr., Kathy Pou, and Skip Yon. He was the son of the late Brodus Yon, Sr. and Elease Williams Yon. Jimmy is also survived by many niece, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Jimmy loved his family. Jimmy enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his tractor and taking afternoon walks with his grandchildren. He was an electrician with Day n Zimmerman at Carolina Eastman for many years.

A Memorial Service is being planned with a time of fellowship to follow the service. The family is also receiving friends at the Yon home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society at P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123 (www.
