Jimmy Wayne Adams, 67, of Carlisle, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Jimmy was born on October 6, 1951 in Oklahoma to Raymond and Frieda Adams. Jimmy grew up in Oklahoma and later moved to Arkansas.

He served in the United States Army where he fought in the Vietnam War. Jimmy was a beloved long time employee of Perkins Brothers Farms. Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Adams.

He is survived by his mother, Frieda Adams of Oklahoma, partner, Joyce Miller of Carlisle, Arkansas, a brother, a sister, step-children, and grandchildren. Jimmy will be sadly missed by Blane, Blake, Marty, David, Phillip, Bobby Perkins whom he worked side by side with every day on the farm for nearly 20 years. A celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 10:00 am with a graveside service at the Old Carlisle Cemetery located on Raborn Road in Carlisle, Arkansas.
