Obituary for Jo Ann Sturgeon Jo Ann Sturgeon, 66, of Murphysboro, passed away at 12:01 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, in Evansville, IN. Jo Ann was born on August 5, 1952, in Jackson County, IL, a daughter to the late Gilbert L. and Dorothy (Dean) Easterly. She was united in marriage to Charles Sturgeon in Murphysboro; Charles preceded her in death on October 1, 2003.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018, in Walker Hill Cemetery in Grand Tower, IL. Those attending are asked to gather at the cemetery. Survivors include her significant other, Randy Myers; two sons and daughters-in-law, Nick and Carrie Reynolds of Cape Girardeau, MO, and Jacob and Marilyn Reynolds of Marion, IL; eight grandchildren, Cody Reynolds, Nichole Reynolds, Ricky Reynolds, Cody Kelley, Christy (Andrew) Wilson, Tyler Byrnes, Luke Lynn, and Jada Reynolds; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Debbie (Dale) Chadwick, Sharon (Bob) Jennings; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Mike Easterly, Allen (Beverly) Dean and Raoul (Dolores) Doloroul.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Gilbert Easterly, one sister, Mary Lou Stroud and one sister-in-law, Jeannie Easterly.
