Joan Ann Peltz, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on Wednesday, June 20th at the age of 78. A native of Syracuse, New York she traveled the world as an Air Force wife. We will all miss her little ditties, retellings of family adventures and faux pas, and devilish humor often served with a side dish of irony.

Joan was always there to support her husband and care for her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Jay; her children Joy (Ed), Heidi (Paul), Tanya (Pam), Gretchen (Frank), Abigayle (Colin), Kurt (Tonya); her 18 grandchildren (Elizabeth, Michael, Kathleen, Jason, Amanda, Scarlet, Nolan, Anna, Sofia, Cassandra, Nehemiah, Rebecca, Ashlyn, Matthew, Melissa, Jacob, Joshua, Holly); and her 9 great grandchildren (Christian, Givanni, Lily, Jack, Phillip, Cody, Natasha, Ryan, Ryle). Joan will also be fondly remembered by her extended family and friends.

A memorial service and celebration of Joan’s life will be held at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Odenton, 8397 Piney Orchard Parkway, Odenton, MD 21113 on Saturday, June 23rd at 4PM.
