Obituary for Joan E. Hicks Joan E. Hicks, 90, of Elizabethtown, and formerly of Lebanon, passed away at her residence on Sunday, June 3, 2018. She was the wife of the late, Durwood C. “Woody” Hicks, who passed away in 2013. Joan was born in Lebanon County on April 7, 1928 to the late Arthur and Irene (Hess) Hershberger.

Joan was a graduate of Lebanon High School and a homemaker. She was a member of Kimmerling’s Church. She is survived by her children, Ricky Hicks of Lebanon, Terry Hicks and his wife Diane of Manheim, DeeAnn Remlinger of Lebanon, Kathy and her husband Dennis “Archie” Buchter of Elizabethtown, 9 grandchildren, Tracy Troup, Michelle Duffy, Tina Fischer, Jo-Dee Rhoads, Rhiannon Remlinger Heilman, Kerry Buchter, Kyle Buchter, Kay-Dee Frey, and Kimberly Kautz, several great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and a sister Miriam Levick.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Kerry Hicks, Randy Hicks, a grandson Mike Hicks, brothers, Arthur Hershberger, Jr., Richard Hershberger, and a sister Betty Sheetz. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 11:30AM, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. There will be a visitation with the family at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main Street, Annville, from 10:30AM until 11AM.
