Turners Falls—– Joan F. (Harper) Bristol, 74, died Wednesday 5-23-18 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Greenfield on June 2, 1943 the daughter of Henry and Pauline (Ruggeri) Harper. Joan loved her job and co-workers retiring after 30 years of service being an Investigator for the Division of Licensure.

She is an avid animal lover having horses, dogs, cats and lawn mowing was a part of her relaxion time. Besides her loving companion Edward J. Sklepowicz of Whately, Joan leaves a daughter Kathleen Bristol and her life partner Jeffrey of Turners Falls, a son Lance Bristol of Greenfield and five grandchildren Jaimee, Seth, Aaron, Brittney and Kylee, two great children Sadie and Sylas, her sister Sandra O’Sullivan and husband James of Greenfield, and many nieces and nephews. Joan was predeceased by her husband Edward Bristol and son Dale Bristol.
