Obituary for Joan F. Lynch Joan F. Lynch, 83, of Effort passed away Friday, January 4, 2019 in St. Luke’s Hospital- Monroe campus. Joan was the widow of Gerald Lynch who passed away In 2015. Born in Hackensack, N.J., Joan was the daughter of the late Frank and Mildred (Taylor) Heacks.
Joan was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She has lived in Effort for the past 10 years, and prior to that in East Stroudsburg. Joan was of the Catholic faith.
Joan is survived by her children; Sean Lynch, Daniel Lynch, Darren Lynch, and Eileen Varvo. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren. Cremation will be private.
