Helen P. Ertle, 87, of Saylorsburg, passed away on Monday December 10, 2018 at Whitestone Care Center. She was the wife of the late Frederick C. Ertle, who passed July 25, 2009. Born April 25, 1931 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Cavlucci) Melisse.

She was a resident of Monroe County for more than 25 years, and prior tot hat of Great Meadows, New Jersey. She worked as a Bank Teller in Great Meadows for many years. Helen Volunteered for… Read More » the Monroe Animal League.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Swanson of Thornhurst, her sons, Frederick S and his wife Kathryn of Bartonsville and Steven of Saylorsburg; her four grandchildren Stephanie, Jonathan and twins Abigal and Danielle; and 3 great grandchildren Benjamin, Ellie and Owen. As per her request, there will be no services at this time. The Bensing-Thomas Funeral home is in charge.
