Obituary for Stephen Marshack Stephen Marshack 79 of East Stroudsburg, Pa. died on Wednesday Jan. 2, 2019.

He was the widower of Carolyn (Dawson) Marshack. Born in Newark, N.J. he was the son of Mitchell and Lilyan (Herskowitz) Marshack. Stephen was a resident of the E. Stroudsburg area for the past 13 years and prior to that he resided in the Bushkill area and Spotswood, New Jersey.

He worked as a nurse at the New Jersey State Home for Boys in Jamesburg, N.J. for many years. He was a navy veteran and was of the Jewish faith. He is survived by 4 children: James Marshack and his wife Mary of Ohio, Dennis Maresco, Michelle Hartman and Star Tiernan of Sayreville, N.J., and several grand and great grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial will be on Monday Jan. 7, 2019 at 11:00am in the Delaware Water Gap Cemetery, Delaware Water Gap, Pa. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.
