TAYNTOR, Joan Hindley, 95, of Tampa, passed away September 3, 2018. She was born August 29, 1923 in Manchester, England and moved to Tampa from Wauchula, FL in 2013. Joan served in England’s Women’s Auxiliary Air Force from 1942-1946.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Wauchula. Joan was a wife and traveled extensively with her husband and family living in Turkey, Norway and Japan before retiring in Wauchula in 1971. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W.
