OBITUARY Joan I Hiles November 29, 1927 – November 2, 2018 Joan I. Hiles, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital. She was born November 29, 1927 in Fort Wayne to the late Ezra and Wilma Garringer. She attended Southside & Hoagland High Schools along with graduating from Marion Junior College.

She worked in sales and management for a number of businesses. Joan was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where she was active with the United Methodist Women and the Shaw Ministry, along with numerous organizations in Redlands, California while she lived there. She is survived by her children, Susan Hiles of Fort Wayne and Jay Hiles of Huntington; grandchildren, Isaiah Hiles, Landon McDonald, and Joni Cook; step grandchild, Chris Kirloff; and great grandchildren, Oliver, Nora, and Charlotte.

She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Hiles; second husband, Wade Kirloff; daughter, Sandra Hiles; son, Jeff Hiles; stepson, Dale Kirloff; and grandson, Ezra Hiles. Memorial service will be Friday, November 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 2417 Getz Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804. Memorial Contributions may be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Women.
