Joan Marie Jovonavich, age 90 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away on February 14, 2019 at Heather Pines, Clarkston, Michigan. She was born on April 3, 1928 in Marquette, Michigan to Arthur and Mildred Messier. Beloved Wife of the late George Jovonavich.

Mother of Craig (Sylvia) Jovonavich and Marie (Joe Allevato) Troesch. Grandmother of Jacob, Tammy, Amy, Michael and Joey. Great-Grandmother of 3.

Joan was a wonderful cook, loved playing card (Cribbage being her favorite), enjoyed camping and fishing. She attended St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Madison Heights. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 19th from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm (Rosary time is pending) at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, (1 block North of 13 Mile Road, West side of John R. Road), Madison Heights, Michigan.

The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 20th beginning with 9:30 am Instate followed by the 10:00 Mass at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 28353 Herbert St., Madison Heights, Michigan.
