Joan’s Obituary Joan Rosalie Haas-Lough, 83, a long time resident of Dundalk, MD passed peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born December 24, 1935, in Baltimore, one of six children. She married George E Haas Sr. in 1951, and built a life with him until he passed in 2000.

Together they had four children George Jr.(deceased), Gregory (deceased), Sharon (deceased) and Lisa. They were followed by three grandchildren, Joan Ward, James Piaskowski, Andrew Haas, and three great-grandchildren Chloe, Ciaran, and Aela Ward. Joan’s family continued to grow despite loss and tragedy when she married William Lough in 2002.

A caring partner, he and his family were a blessing to her life. Sadness hit again when Bill passed in 2006. She used the hardship to once again show her grace and strength.

Her loving joy always showed through. She was blessed again with a partner and family with Wade Adams who she also joins in heaven now. Her surviving family will hold to the abiding memory of her quiet strength and beautiful spirit all the days of their lives.

The family will receive friends at the Connelly Funeral Home of Dundalk, 7110 Sollers Point Rd. on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday 11 am at the funeral home.

Interment to follow at Gardens of Faith Cemetery.
