Joan M. (Rostek) Kavalir, age 76, after a long battle with ALS, on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 of Carrick. Beloved wife of 61 years to Frank J. Kavalir. Loving mother of Ray Kavalir (Lisa), Joyce Kweder (Bill), Charlene Kavalir (Ed Schuster), Kathleen Kavalir (Albie Snyder) and Joy Kuchar who was considered one of her daughters.

Grandmother of Kevin (Joanna), Kimberly, Sarah, Steven, Bobby and Frankie. Sister of Thomas (Joann) Rostek, James (Susanne) Rostek and Edward (the late Sandy) Rostek. Family and friends received Friday 12 Noon to 8:00 PM at the Readshaw Funeral Home, Inc. 1503 Brownsville Road, Carrick where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM.

Interment South Side Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to ALS Association 416 Lincoln Ave. Suite 201, Millvale, PA 15209 in Joan’s name.
