Joan (Taylor) Babcock, 93, of Fall River, wife of the late Charles A. Babcock, passed away Monday, April 29, 2019. An former employee of Quaker Fabric, she was also a lunch lady for the Letourneau School. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, but most of all spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by two children, Maureen Costa (husband the late John) and Charles Babcock (wife Eileen); four grandchildren, Charlene St. Onge, John Costa (wife Linda), Megan Babcock, and Samantha (husband Daniel) Barreira; five great-grandchildren, Sean, Charley-Ann, Devon, Riley, Mackenzie; one great, great-grandchild, Bailey; a sister, Marjorie Cambra and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Maurice Taylor and Joyce Ferreira and the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary (Littler) Taylor. A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, May 13, 2019 at 10:00 A.M at Holy Name Church, 709 Hanover St. Fall River, MA.
