VELOTT, Joan Holochwost 86, of Clearwater, FL, passed away on July1, 2018. She is survived by her husband, L. H. Pete Velott, a daughter, Patricia Guinter, two sons, Steven and Gregory Velott, six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Born in Gettysburg, Joan was a resident of Williamsport for many years graduating from Williamsport High School in 1949.

She attended Temple University Hospital where she was awarded her RN and later worked at Divine Providence Hospital while attending Lycoming College. After marrying Pete she served with him in the U.S. Foreign Service in several foreign countries and then assisted him after his ordination as a deacon in several dioceses throughout the U.S. Her funeral Mass will be held at All Saints Catholic Church in Clearwater. In lieu of Flowers, please donate in her name to a charity of your choice.
