Mrs. Joann Bearden Haney, age 75, of Temple passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on Sunday, December 6, 1942. Mrs. Haney was the daughter of the late Charles Bearden and the late Velma Bowen Bearden.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Ernest Haney, Sr. of Temple; three daughters and sons-in-law, Jane and Benjamin Cross of Dallas, Jean and Paul Goode of Austell and Dianne Privett of Temple and three grandchildren Pebbles Simpson of Moreland, Keith and Kenneth Cross both of Dallas; five great-grandchildren; Amber, Thomas, Nicholas, Kale, Konner and a number of other relatives. In accordance with the family’s wishes, Mrs. Haney will be cremated. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home with Pastor John Butler officiating.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM-4:00 PM. Messages of condolence can be made to the family by signing the online guestbook. Hutcheson-Croft Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Temple is entrusted with the arrangements.
