JoAnn Alexander, age 84, of Ford City, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at North Alabama Medical Center. Visitation will be Thursday, December 27th from 11am until 12pm with the funeral service to follow at 12pm. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.

Bro. Charlie James, Bro. Charles Maples, and Bro.

Brian Holden will officiate the service. JoAnn was a member of Hatton Baptist Church, Red Cross Volunteers, and Brick Hatton Fire Department. Preceding her in death was her husband, Billy Alexander; parents, Cleburn Houston and Robbie Charlene Flack; and sister, Dorothy Holden.

Survivors include her son, Tommy Alexander (Marcia), of Killen; brother, Michael Flack (Sara), of Tuscumbia; grandchildren, Stacy Philips (Vennie) and Suzanne Holden (Brian); and six great-grandchildren, Olivia, Zoe, and Zeke and Lilli Holden, and Savanna and Belle Phillips. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Her great-grandson, Zeke, will serve as an Honorary Pallbearer.

Colbert Memorial Chapel is directing.
