Obituary for JoAnne Stubbs Funeral service celebrating the life of JoAnne Stubbs, 83, of Enid, will be 2:00 PM, Monday, at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert M. Bland. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, with arrangements by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.

Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday from 2:00 to 3:00 at the funeral home. JoAnne was born August 19, 1934 in Portsmouth, Ohio to George and Frances (Walker) Getz, and passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Enid. JoAnne grew up in Portsmouth, and graduated from Waverly High School.

She married Joseph L. Stubbs on March 8, 1953, in Chillicothe, Ohio, and made their home in Ohio. They moved to Douglas in 1968, where she was a member of Pleasant Valley Church. JoAnne was a homemaker, she loved to sew, bake, cook, and was involved with home interiors.

She is survived by her husband Joseph, sons Paul Stubbs of Enid, and Mark Stubbs of Stillwater; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. JoAnne was preceded in death by her son David, her parents, a brother, and a sister. Memorials maybe made through the funeral home Team Missions.
