Joanne’s Obituary Joanne D. Uddstrom, 83, of Monongahela and New Eagle, died Wednesday, May 15, 2019 in the Monongahela Valley Hospital. She was born August 6, 1935 in Monongahela, the daughter of Dewey J. and Stella Bane DeCooman. Joanne attended Monongahela city schools.

She was a homemaker and spent her life taking care of her son, David. She is survived by her niece, Jane Budd of Punta Gorda, Florida and numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Karl D. Uddstrom; son, David Alan Uddstrom who died Nov.

16, 2018; two brothers, Francis “Bud” DeCooman and Dewey “Sonny” DeCooman; and three sisters, Nora Richards, Alice Louttit, and Vera Fredericks; and her loving companion, Thomas A. Bianchi. Joanne was laid to rest in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora. The Frye Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
