Joe A. Holub, 81 years of age, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 in Houston, Texas. Born on December 27, 1937 in Weimer, Texas to Joseph and Annie Holub II. Joe, a devoted and faithful servant to God and family has been called home to join his loving wife, Theresa Holub.

Heroes’ are seen in many different ways, but seldom recognized for their humility, grace and devotion to God and family like our Dad. Dad is our foundation and the cornerstone of our lives. Our Dad is a Veteran of the U.S. Army, a bike rider and a marathon runner.

Our Dad is a devotional man of faith until his last breath. Dad was a past Grand Knight of Notre Dame Catholic Church Council #7036. Our family thanks all of you who have prayed for our Dad, and now he is home.

We shall all be home together another day with the glory of God. Joe leaves behind his loving sons Frank and Patrick Holub. He also leaves behind many loving family members and friends to cherish his memory.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at Unity Funeral Home, 7730 Boone Rd. , Houston, Tx 77072 from 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Wake at 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM Rosary.

Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 7720 Boone Rd. , Houston, Texas 77072 at 11:00 AM. Procession to follow mass to Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer at Dairy Ashford, Houston, Texas 77077.

BBQ dinner reception to follow graveside at Notre Dame Community Hall located near church office.
