Joe Ernest Daugherty, Sr. passed peacefully on August 31, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital with loved ones near. Joe was born on December 9, 1961 to the late Glenna and Joe Ernest Daugherty, Sr He was a Licensed Minister and worked for Davis Wholesale Supply as a Truck Driver.

“Joe loved life and would do anything for anyone”. He will be remembered for his control of the remote to anyone’s television, his passion for cooking and his many contributions to the Fire Fighters Boot. Joe was very fond of his employers.

He loved driving trucks, motorcycles, electronics, Bud Lite Lime and Crown Royal. He was a great provider to his family especially the kids. His many pastimes included, reading, traveling, spending time with loved ones and his special friends, “Gizmo and Peanut” the Chihuahua Dogs, and “Buddy” the Cockatiel Bird.

These fond memories will last in the mind and heart of his wife, Becky Sue; children, Mark, Rachel Terry, Heather Hamilton (Juma Haywood), Shane Stefanski (Lisa Bleke), Derrick Parker, Sarah Lauer and Marcus Williams; sisters, Faye (Gary) Katzer, Dee Weinken, Patricia and Diana Daugherty and Carla (Mike) Scoville; 20 grandchildren, a great grandson, Kyrie Catalyn; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe E. Sr. and Glenna Daugherty. .
