Joe’s Obituary Union Grove – Joe F. Kemp, age 83, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2019 at Oak Ridge Care Center in Union Grove. He was born in Texas to parents Marvin and Radie (nee. Nahler) Kemp on October 30, 1935.

Joe spent 54 years living and working in Mayfield, Kentucky. He owned his own company, installing roofs and gutters. In his free time, he loved to fish, hunt, and go camping.

Joe will be dearly missed. Joe is survived by his children, Kathy Potts, Cyndi O’Malley, Marguerite Kemp, JoAnn (Norm) Wallace, and Earlene Moore; brothers, Raymond and Melvin Kemp; sisters, Bonnie Lay and Ruth (Frank) Able many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Virginia Kemp; his son, Tim Kemp; his daughter, Doreen Kemp; and son-in-law, Ronald Moore.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 4:00-6:00 pm. Funeral services will immediately follow. Burial will take place at the Goshen Cemetery in Mayfield, KY.
