Joe Horace Pruitt, age 79, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at his home. He was born on June 30, 1939 to Theodore Pruitt and Minnie Fulk Pruitt. Mr. Pruitt is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl Nunn Pruitt; a daughter, Christina (Brian) Chilton; three grandchildren, Stephen Tyler Chilton, Haley Nicole Chilton, and Alley Brianna Chilton; a brother, Stewart Pruitt; and a sister, Magdalene Pruitt Kirkman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Irean Jessup and Lottie Allen; a brother, Wayne Pruitt; and a twin brother, John Morace Pruitt. A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at 2 P.M. at Brown Mountain Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie Carter officiating.

Family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 1 P.M. to 2 P.M. The interment will follow in the church cemetery. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain (www. coxneedham.com, www.
