Obituary for Joe Kuykendall Joe Kuykendall passed away on April 28, 2018. Graveside service: 2:00 pm, Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Born in Mckinney Texas on June 2nd, 1927 to Jess Echols & Lorraine Louise Carmichael Kuykendall.

He graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1944, and attended TCU after serving in the United States Navy. Joe was a WW2 veteran, joining the United States Navy on Jan. 11, 1945.

After completing active duty, he continued to serve in the United States Naval Reserves through the Korean War. After attending TCU, Joe took a position with General Motors in Fort Worth. He later took a position with Cummins Sales & Service where he worked for 35 years retiring as Director of Sales.

Joe loved gardening, home projects, and sports. He had a smile that would light up the room. Joe was preceded in death by his brother, David Kuykendall; and sisters, Evelyn Marshall and Betty Carr.

He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Kuykendall; daughters, Kay Kalista and husband, Jeff and Carol Massie and husband, Mark; granddaughter, Nikole Woznicki and husband, Adam; great-grand children, Alanna and Cristian Woznicki; brother, Don Kuykendall and many other extended family and friends.
