OBITUARY Joe P. Mangina Jr. April 18, 1942 – October 6, 2018 Joe Phillip Mangina Jr., 76, of Birmingham, AL passed away on October 6, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Anthony Mangina Sr. and Margaret Katherine Lynagh Mangina; sister, Anna Barbara Mangina. He is survived by his sisters, Linda Marie Mangina and Elizabeth Irene Mangina Smyly (Jerry); nieces, Catherine Phelps (Paul) and Michelle McKee (Scott) and nephew, Matthew Smyly (Whitney); great nieces, Abby Lynn Smyly and Anna Elizabeth McKee; great nephews; Justin Green (Cammie), Christian Hallman (Shelby), Nick Green, Dylan Green, Logan Green, Ryan Phelps, Adam McKee, Tyler Phelps, Brice Smyly and Hunter Smyly.

Family will receive friends Friday October 12, 2018 from 9:00 -10:00 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM. Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
