OBITUARY Joe P. Studer October 3, 1933 – October 18, 2018 “To him, all good things – trout as well as eternal salvation – come by grace, and grace comes by art, and art does not come easy”. – Norman Maclean Joe P. Studer passed away October 18, 2018. He was 85 years old and surrounded by his loving family.

Joe is survived by his wife Sonia Studer, his daughter Elisa Kuriyagawa, his son Sheldon Studer, and his grand-daughter Shihomi Zygo. Joe considered his daughter-in-law, Dawn Dobson as a daughter of his own and Shihomi’s husband, Jeff Zygo, as his grandson. An Air Force Veteran, Joe started his family in Northglenn, Colorado – 180 miles from his childhood home of Goodland, Kansas.

He loved fishing, playing bridge, and camping. He provided for his family as an accountant and for much of his career worked at the original Frontier Airlines. Joe was known for his sharp wit, his conservative politics, and his enduring patience for all the little trouble spots in life.

We invite you to celebrate Joe’s life on Saturday, October 27 at 3:00. The service will be held in the Pavilion of Reflection at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary. Reception with light appetizers will follow.

Donations to The Denver Hospice in lieu of flowers would be appreciated by the family.
