Joel Adam Nabring, age 39, of Garden City, passed away March 12, 2019. Joel was born January 31, 1980 in Royal Oak, MI the son of Melinda and Thales Nabring. He was a student of Oakland Christian School through 12th grade and worked as a delivery driver for Miceli & Oldfield.

Joel was a devoted husband and father, who enjoyed the outdoors, including birdwatching with his father. He is survived by his wife, Stacy Lynn (DeLong) Nabring; daughter, Willow Grace; mother and father, Melinda and Thales Nabring; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gary and Belinda DeLong; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Shanon and Nate Banner; brother-in-law Sean DeLong and fiancé Emily Oleksik; nephew Finn Banner; nieces Sage and Ivey Banner; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by grandparents Allen and Rachel Litfin.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 16 at Knox Presbyterian Church, 25700 Crocker Blvd. , Harrison Township, MI 48045. Family will receive visitors from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made payable to “Stacy Nabring” to be deposited into a trust for Willow Nabring.
