OBITUARY Joett Alton Kelly July 6, 1931 – July 25, 2018 Joett Alton Kelly, 87, of Singer, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at his residence. He was born to his late parents, George and Mattie Kelly on July 6, 1931 in Silsbee, TX. He loved to fish and frog hunt.

He loved spending time with his grandkids and his family. He is survived by two sons, Normand Manuel and wife Pamela of Singer, Larry Kelly of Kaufman, TX; three daughters, Marie Pierce of Singer, Peggy Pierce of Singer, Barbara Payne and husband James of Emory, TX; one sister, Glenda Campbell of Grandbury, TX; along with 17 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Joett is preceded in death by his loving wife of 63 years, Mary Leona Kelly; one son, Jimmy Manual; four brothers; one sister; along with one grandson, John Payne.

Services will be held at Hixson Snider Funeral Home on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at 10:00am with Bro. Clyde Clark officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, July 27, 2018 from 5:00-8:00pm and will resume on Saturday at the funeral home from 8:00am until the time of the service.

Burial will follow at Newlin Cemetery in Singer. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www. hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
