HOLYOKE: John A. Dunn, age 78 of Holyoke and formerly of Chicopee, died on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Holyoke Health Care Center. He was born in Ludlow, son of the late Arthur and Roxanna (Saletnik) Dunn and was a supervisor at the former Food Mart Warehouse in Springfield. John also worked as a security guard for Appleton Security for many years.

He is survived by two daughters: Donna Leonard and Diane Theriault, both of Chicopee; two sons: John of Chicopee, and Robert of New York; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, John was predeceased by a son: Gary Dunn and a brother: Anthony Dunn. He will be missed by his family and many friends.

Services for John will be held at the convenience of his family. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of John to Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union Street, Springfield, MA 01105.
