John Asiel August 06, 1963 – May 14, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card John Asiel, 55 of Sewaren passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at his home. Born in Jersey City, John was a resident of Sewaren for 18 years and was employed as an electrician with Local #6 in New York. John enjoyed his motorcycles and was an avid NY Giants fan.

He will be sorely missed by his daughters. John was predeceased by his daughter, Alexandra Helley. Surviving are his wife Shari Asiel of 17 years; children, Sarah Elizabeth, Kathryn Irene Asiel, Jennifer Helley as well as his sister, Renee Asiel and mother-in-law, Susanna Birgel.

Cremation will be private under the direction of Chubenko Funeral Home, 625 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading. A memorial service will be held at a later date which is soon to be announced.
