Obituary for John Barton Neely John Barton Neely went to be with our Lord on September 10, 2018, at the age of 77, passing away at his home in Dallas, Texas. John was born in Hobart, Oklahoma on December 15, 1940. He had a long career in the automobile industry, but his passion was on the golf course.

In his younger years he spent vacations with his loving wife scuba diving in exotic waters. He is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years Janette Neely; children David Neely and wife Tran, Todd Neely and wife Teri, Danny Yates and wife Jenny, Denise Marsh, and Julia Null and husband Kenneth; grandchildren Ashley Yates, Olivia Marsh, Calvin Yates, Sara Yates, Christine Olsen, Tammy Bates, Jennifer Neely, Mathew Neely, and Caleb Neely; 9 great-grandchildren, countless friends, and extended family. He was deeply loved and will be remembered as a wonderful dance partner and for his charming smile.

Celebration of Life will be at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 1pm. Reception to immediately follow the Celebration. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of John Barton Neely please visit our Sympathy Store.
