Burlington – John Brian Bost, 56, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Duke University Medical Center surrounded by his family and friends. He was born on January 23, 1962 in Hampden County, MA to the late John Byerly Bost and Evelyn Louis Baker Bost, and was the husband of 31 years to Deborah Stevens Bost who survives. John was an electrical contractor, owner and operator of Bost Electric, Inc. for 20 years.

John loved spending time with his family, watching sports, reading about U.S. history, collecting guns and hunting. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law and friend to many who will be dearly missed.

Survivors other than his wife, Deborah Bost include his sons, Garrett Bost and wife, Logan, and Aaron Bost; daughters, Callie Cox and husband, Matthew, Abigail Crispino and husband, Juan, Rachel Bost and Corrina Bost; four grandchildren; and sisters, Virginia Sellers and husband, Bill, Nancy Young and husband, Paul, Joyce Zug and husband, Jim, Janet Butterfield and husband, Fred and Diane Bost. The memorial service will be held at 10:00am Saturday, December 15, 2018 at The Lamb’s Chapel (Haw River location) by Rev. Ken Smith.

A private graveside service will be held in Woodleaf, NC. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday evening at Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory. Memorials may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, www.
