John Broding, 78, passed away December 28, 2017. A visitation will be from 2-3 PM Sunday January 7, 2018 at Souder Family Funeral Home. John will be buried in Santa Barbara Cemetery, Santa Barbara, CA.

John is survived by his wife, Janet Broding; children, Jennifer and Scott Broding; step-children, Gary, Scott, and Karen Watson; sisters, Sally and Susan; 8 grandchildren. He served in the US Marine Corps Reserves and a retired Los Angeles County Fire Fighter. John loved cars, golfing, surfing, jet skiing, and the California sun. He enjoyed traveling and was always on the go.
