John C. Veveiros of Tiverton, Rhode Island November 28, 1939 – January 28, 2019 TIVERTON… John C. Veveiros, 79, of Tiverton passed away January 28, 2019. He was the husband of the late Carole (Pierce) Veveiros. Born in Tiverton, he was a son of the late John C. and Adelaide (Costa) Veveiros and had been a lifelong resident of this town.

Mr. Veveiros worked for many years as an Electrical Engineer and was a member of the Tiverton Senior Center. He played the organ for the Pacific Union Congregational Church in Westport, The Little Compton United Congregational Church, the Central Baptist Church in Tiverton and the former Sts. Peter and Paul Parish at Holy Cross Church in Fall River.

He enjoyed guns, western movies, trains and the news. Survivors include his son Christopher S. Veveiros and his companion Jaime Santos of Fall River and a grandson, Zachary Meone. There are no services scheduled at this time.
