Mr. John Allen, age 79 of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at his home. Born May 28, 1939 in Oswego, Campbell County, TN, he was the son of the late Millard and Essie Marshall Allen. Mr. Allen was a Veteran of the United States Air Force, and was retired from the Smalley Manufacturing Co. where he worked for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Glen J., Charles, and Harrison Allen; sisters: Lenora McCullah and Garneda Anderson. He is survived by his wife: Nancy; daughters: Jackie Allen Davis and Sonja Allen Lawless; son: John Allen II and wife Kristy; several grandchildren; sister: Ruby Brunty; and other family members and friends. Mr. Allen will be entombed on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in the Carson Memorial Mausoleum.
