Northbridge- John Gerard Perras, 68, of School St. Northbridge passed awayThursday January 3, 2019 in Milford Hospital after a long battle with Cancer. Jack was born in Northbridge on April 4, 1950 to parents Henry and Fernande (Boucher) Perras. He graduated, Class President in 1968 from Northbridge High School and continued on to receive his Bachelors Degree from Providence College.

He leaves his wife of 42 years Karen A. Rae; his son Derek and his wife Corinne, and granddaughters Lucy and Olive; two daughters, Karen and grandson John Palmieri, and Liza and partner David Rymeski. He leaves a sister Janyce and her husband Paul Murray, brothers Tom and his wife Carol, Billy and his wife Eli, and Jimmy Perras; several nieces, nephews; and many good friends. Jack retired from Mayfield Plastics in Sutton.

He worked as a highly skilled prototype and precision specialist. He was also well known as a master woodworker and loved watching his Pat’s and Celtics games. His family wishes to express their gratitude to Dana Farber and Milford Hospital, Brigham and Women’s in Boston as well as the Northbridge EMT’s and Police Department.
