JOHN M. GINDVILLE “Johnny Boy”, tragically passed away on February 11, 2019 as a result of an auto accident. He was born and raised in South Philadelphia and recently resided in Elk Township, NJ. John was a graduate of St. John Neumann High School “Class of 89” and a member of ILA Local 1291.

He was a loving and caring husband, son, father and brother and a good friend to all who knew him. He enjoyed playing his guitar, loved his coffee with 13 sugars and 11 creams, was an avid Philly sports fan, liked nature and at night would often be in the back woods watching the deer. He considered himself a meteorologist, was a trivia guru, and enjoyed reading.

John also coached the Bull Dogs Basketball Team in Franklinville, NJ. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Samantha (nee Robinson); loving father of Justin, Ava, John Albert, Christian and Finn Gindville; dearest son of John and Kathleen (nee Sullivan) Gindville; son-in-law of Susan Robinson; brother of Daniel (Jennifer) Gindville and Kristin (Mark) Kane; uncle of Nina, Dani Lynn, Mark, Evyn and a great niece Luciano Galdo. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many good friends.

Relatives, friends and members of the ILA Local 1291 are invited to his Visitation on Saturday 8-11:40 AM at the Murphy Ruffenach, Brian W. Donnelly Funeral Home (3rd & Wolf Streets). Funeral Mass 12 Noon in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
