Mr. John Guy Fowler of Rock Creek passed away on the morning of July 3rd, 2018 after our Lord had blessed us with his presence for more than 85 years. John served his country both as an Army veteran and as a US Government employee for more than 35 years from which he retired as a Configuration Manager in the early 90’s. He was a devoted member of Blue Springs Baptist Church where he served in many capacities, including Deacon, committee leader, and long time choir member.

But of all John’s wonderful qualities, his most cherished was that of loving husband, father, and grandfather — roles he will continue to lovingly fulfill from his new view in Heaven. He is survived by his wife, Virgie Childers Fowler; daughter, Cynthia Kelly and husband Sean of Madison; granddaughter, Caitlin Kelly of Madison; and numerous loving relatives. He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Ruby Fowler.
