OBITUARY John H. Pecarek October 5, 1945 – January 16, 2019 Play Tribute Movie PECAREK, John Howey, 73 of Largo passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, January 16, 2019. John was born October 5, 1945 in Clearwater, FL to the late John Stanley & Helen Elizabeth (Howey) Pecarek. He was a long time attorney here in Largo.

John was class president his senior year and graduated from Largo High School in 1963. He served in the US Army, received his business degree from the University of Mississippi in 1967 and his law degree from Stetson University, J.D. in 1971. He was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Legal Fraternity, the Clearwater Bar Association, Probate, Guardianship and Trust Law Committee Florida Bar, Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section Pinellas County Estate Planning Council, Municipal Police Officers’ and Firefighters’ Retirement Board 1997 – 2012, Suncoast Hospital Board, Star Lodge Number 78 F & AM of Largo, FL since 1978 and a member of Anona United Methodist Church.

John is survived by his loving wife Paula, two daughters Holly Pecarek of Atlanta, GA and Beth Pecarek of Jacksonville, FL along with a sister Carol Moffett of Chester, VA and his granddogs. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be offered to the Largo Library Foundation. Friends are calling on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 6pm – 8 pm at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo where Masonic Services will take place at 6:30 pm.

Funeral Services will follow Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 1 PM at Anona United Methodist Church, 13233 Indian Rocks Road, Largo. Condolences may be offered at www. serenityfuneralhomelargo.com.
