Obituary for John Harry Wade John H. Wade, 61, of Galloway passed away on May 19, 2018. Born in Columbus to John and Jean Wade. John had distinguished twenty year career in the US Air Force.

His tours of duty took him to Iraq, Korea, Japan, Belgium and the Aleutian Islands. He retired with the rank Chief Master Sergeant. He then followed this with another distinguished career in the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department where he served as Deputy Sheriff in the Franklin County Jail.

He retired to his family farm in Galloway, Ohio, in April 2018. John is preceded in death by his parents. Lovingly survived by his sister, Joyce (Michael) Altman and brother, Jim Wade.

Family will invite friends to HEART AND HOPE FUNERAL HOME by SCHOEDINGER 3030 W. BROAD ST. COLUMBUS, OH 43204 on Thursday May 24th from 5-8 p.m. A graveside service to follow on Friday May 25th at 10 a.m. at Sunset Cemetery with Fr. Leo Connolly will officiate.
