OBITUARY John J. Holloman October 29, 1942 – July 12, 2018 Play Tribute Movie John Joseph Holloman, of St. Louis, MO, was born on October 29th in 1942 at St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis. He passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the age of 75. John is survived by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Mary Holloman (nee: McCandless); children, Ranay Holloman-Boylan (Robert), Tina Holloman (Hareth), Carol Holloman-Bay (Olin), and Dawn Holloman-Kelly (James); grandchildren, Marty Newkirk, Erin Boylan, Taylor (Brandon) Ziegler, Mitchell Hille, Miranda Walker, Austin Walker, and grandson-in-law, Kyle Watkins; great grandchildren, Kailyn Newkirk and Hayden Ziegler; and nephews, Jim Allen, Jeff Allen, John Caldwell, Robert Caldwell, and William Caldwell.

John is also survived by many other extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph Holloman, Sr. and Marjorie Gray-Holloman; his sister, Jackie Holloman-Allen; and his grandmother, Marion Gray. John attended Festus High School in Festus, MO.

After high school, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for over 4 years. John was a family man. He made it a priority to bring love into the lives of everyone he met.

He was a devoted husband, caring father, and loving grandfather. Anyone that knew John knew of his sweet and caring nature. He was certainly a man who valued his faith and his family.

He will truly be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in John’s name to American Diabetes Association.
